Life is an adventure – whether is takes you down the street to a new restaurant or halfway around the world, there is always more to explore.
My Current Challenge: All things mountains
In summer 2016 I caught the backpacking bug. 58 miles, 6 days above 10,000 ft elevation, at least 3,000 ft of elevation change a day. Combine that with a much-anticipated move to Colorado in 2018 and slightly more free time now that grad school is over and you have me now. On the books for 2019 are two running races through the mountains, a 6-week intensive lead rock climbing course, and two backpacking treks on the Continental Divide trail. I’d better get training!
